The EXCEL Sports Performance and Scholarship Programme supports varsity athletes in their quest to combine sporting and academic excellence. The programme provides athletes with numerous support services, developing athletes on both an individual and team basis. Scholarships are available to talented athletes, whatever the subject area. There are two grades on the programme with performance eligibility criteria as follows: REACH: Athletes who have proven excellence in regional level competition. EXCEL: Athletes must demonstrate excellence in sport at national or international level of competition
