Qualifying Details
The University also participates in the above relevant Scheme (for Taught Masters students in relevant science or social science subjects). This award is intended to assist a student from a developing Commonwealth country who has the requisite academic background, but cannot afford the tuition fees and is not eligible for any other British government award. This award covers tuition fees, the costs of travel to and from the UK, and provides a living allowance. Candidates must hold or expect to obtain at least an upper second class honours degree and be younger than 35 years of age to be eligible for this award. Students do not apply for these awards; nominations are made from among the applications received by the University. Therefore, the institution needs to have received the application for entry to the relevant course before the end of March.
